EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), is a type of therapy designed to lessen distress related to traumatic events or disturbing memories. This can be helpful for survivors of abuse or neglect, bullying, traumatic losses, unstable childhoods, or any other loss of safety and security.
EMDR is a process of systematic bilateral stimulation (eye movements, hand tappers) while being guided by a therapist. For more information, visit EMDRIA.org.
